Equipment of every size and kind is subject to vibration. Sometimes the vibration is generated by a machine, like a motor or a pump. Other times it’s a consequence of using the equipment, like a vehicle or an HVAC system. And sometimes vibration is not caused by the device itself but can affect its function, like electronics and control panels. Reducing or eliminating vibration can improve performance, extend service life and increase operator safety and comfort.

We die-cut sound and vibration absorbing gaskets for use in countless industries and situations. The material can be as simple as an adhesive-backed sheet or sound deadening pad, and the application may be as critical as stabilizing components in next-generation aerospace equipment. We work closely with product design teams to recommend a solution that meets every requirement, from physical specifications to cost.

Multiple properties

Many of the materials we use for sealing and gasketing also reduce noise, vibration and harshness (NVH). They are often described as thermal or acoustic insulation materials, but rest assured they provide other benefits as well: vibration isolation, vibration control, sound dampening and noise reduction.
