Don’t be shocked
We fabricate custom electrical insulators by die-cutting thin, flexible, electrically insulating plastic films, rubber, fibers and papers. These include Kapton® polyimide films, Mylar® PET film, ITW Formex® (polypropylene), Nomex® aramid fiber, insulation papers (fish paper), Teflon® PTFE, and solid rubber sheets such as silicone or neoprene. They are available with or without pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) backing.
Some insulating materials have other properties that provide additional benefits, such as gasketing or thermal management.
We convert electrical insulation materials for medical, scientific, electronic and industrial applications using a variety of cutting technologies. We can also provide secondary operations including scoring, creasing, bending, folding and laminating to meet your custom needs.
We have close partnerships with leading manufacturers of engineered insulator materials. If you want help choosing an insulator material, tell us the thermal, electrical and mechanical requirements of your application and our knowledgeable staff will help you find a solution.
